Mondo and Martin Ansin Tackle Gladiator
Tomorrow, Mondo will do two things fans love: 1) release a new Martin Ansin print; and 2) release a print for a classic film, Gladiator, for which they've never released a print for before. It's a win/win for fans, and sure to be hard to come by on drop day.

As for the artwork, the variant really seems to be the winner here, as the colors work better than the brighter red of the regular. It's also nice to see Ansin illustrate these pieces in a style that's a departure from some of his previous work, and the 12x36 size also is nice deviation from the norm. It's also great to see likeness of the main character, which is something many fans have been clamoring for lately.

"Believe it or not, this year marks the 15th Anniversary of GLADIATOR and we're excited to have our first-ever poster for the film by the incredibly talented Martin Ansin. This is the first 12"x36" print Martin has done for us, which frames the epic scene from the film so brilliantly. We'll be releasing two versions of the print, the variant featuring a metallic layer."
Drop Details: These will both be released tomorrow, February 4, 2015, at a random time on Mondo's website. The regular will be priced at $45 and will have an edition size of 300, while the variant will cost $65 and have a run size of 150. To all those going for them, good luck!
