Grey Matter Art Re-teams with Gabz for First Blood

After several high profile collaborations, including Terminator and Escape from New York, Grey Matter Art and Gabz have teamed up again; this time, for the original Rambo film "First Blood." On Wednesday March 4th, GMA will release three versions of the print: a regular, variant and a wood variant edition

On first glance, the print looks like it is done in Gabz's typical style -- i.e., one central image of a character housing multiple individual images within it (think Terminator or Mulholland Drive) -- but there are noticeable differences here. First, the main image of Rambo is a side perspective, much like his Inception piece, and it doesn't have a ton of character imagery within it. Additionally, the titles are placed vertically down the center of the print.

Pair those differences with the muted color palate of both the regular and variant, and you have one of Gabz's finest prints to date; with the somber color scheme, likeness and layout, it just feels like the perfect print for the film.

Drop Details: These will all be released on Wednesday March 4th between 1 and 2 PM EST here. The regular will be an edition of 300, and will cost $50, while the paper variant will cost $75 and have an edition of 150. There will also be 50 Wood Variants, which will cost $250 each.  To those going for these, good luck!
