Amazing New Art from Laurent Durieux
Last night we got the unexpected treat of seeing some new images from Laurent Durieux's Upcoming Mondo Gallery Show. All three prints are inspired by Hitchcock films and each one is better than the next. Between what we're seeing here, and the already released images for Back to the Future, Durieux's show is shaping up to be one of the best ever. No hyperbole there, folks. Durieux is taking it to another level, here, with some incredible properties.
Although all three are great, the Birds may be our favorite of the bunch. It's simple, clever and has the perfectly placed, ominous shadow of the bird on the dock, similar to the shark fin on the umbrella in Laurent's Jaws print.
