Back to the Future II by Laurent Durieux
As first reported by slashfilm, Mondo has given everyone a sneak peak of Laurent Durieux's gallery show by debuting his work for Back to the Future II. In short, these look incredible. It perfectly mixes Durieux's style with the tone and feel of the film. The regular is an edition of 575 and the variant has an edition of 225.

Once you look a little closer, you'll see that they are cleverly placed in the print -- specifically, with the "Back" being in the window on the left, the "to" being on the sign above the car, the "the" being in the window of the diner, and "Future II" placed on the neon sign behind the car.

Let's start with the good: It seems that Durieux will be doing the entire back to the future trilogy, and if these are any indication we're in for a treat. It seems like we'll have a more than worthy addition to Phantom City Creative's now-iconic, and often imitated, Back to the Future Set. Now for the bad news: these are unlikely to make there way online, especially the variant. While Mondo will typically leftovers from a gallery show online, they do not hold anything back for an online drop. So chances are these will be long gone before that time.
In the meantime, we'll keep you posted as more work from the show is debuted up and through the weekend.
Updated: We now have the image for Back to the Future. Enjoy!
